Ministry Leaders

The Small Group Ministry at Heritage falls under the direction of our Small Groups Minister, Mike Conaway.

Mike oversees the daily activities and administration of our Small Groups. He previously served as the Life Groups Servant Leader (volunteer) since January 2003, and in January 2007 joined our staff as the Small Groups Minister. Mike is originally from Indiana and has lived in the Peachtree City/Fayetteville area since 1988. He and his wife Shirley have been members of Heritage since 2001.

Mike has a great team surrounding him. Bill Degner serves as our Small Group Ministry Servant Leader. With over 20 years of experience in small group living, Bill’s input is vital in assisting Mike with promoting, managing and shepherding of the ministry.

Steve Clarke also is part of the ministry team, serving as ministry advocate. Steve’s role has him working closely with Bill and together they manage many of the day-to-day happenings. Steve is the leader of our Support Program, our main tool for shepherding our leaders and supporting them in all areas.

If you would like to speak with Mike about joining a group or need more information about our program please contact him via e-mail at mikeconaway@heritagechristian.com or call the small group ministry direct at 770.716.5768 ext. 201.
